How to Join ACON

If you are a certified health care practitioner, working in Atlantic Canada, you can join ACON.  There is no membership fee.  When you sign up, your information will go to an ACON administrator who will then send you a confirmation email.
 
When you join, you will be asked if you would like to be a CORE member or a CORRESPONDING member. 
 
A Core member participates in ACON meetings and key working groups/activities. Are you are a "hands-on" type of person?  Are you interested in working for change?  Do you feel you have specific experience that could contribute to improvements in patient care? Then you may want to sign up as a CORE member. 
 
A Corresponding member is part of the ACON distribution list and is sent regular updates about the activities of the network.  If you like to stay "in the loop" but don’t feel ready yet to contribute to ACON activities, then you may want to sign up as a CORRESPONDING member.
 
When you become a member of ACON you will be included in a growing network of oncology practioners listed in the password protected Practitioner Directory.   Please note the contact information included in the Practitioner Directory is the same information provided by you when you register, and is only accessible by registered ACON members.
 
Some additional features of this website are also password-protected and are only available to ACON members.  After you submit your request to join, and your registration is confirmed, a confirmation email will include details on how to login to this website for the first time.
